Terms of Service

Effective date: 14 August 2026. These Terms govern use of the HiAir iOS and Android apps and hiair.io.

1. Service description

HiAir provides wellness-oriented insights about outdoor heat and air quality, including personal risk guidance, safer outdoor windows, and optional Apple Health activity summaries. HiAir is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or manage disease. Do not use HiAir for emergencies.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a HiAir account. If you use a family outdoor profile, you remain the account holder and are responsible for that use.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for credentials and for the accuracy of profile information. You may delete your account in Settings. Deleting the HiAir account removes HiAir-stored personal data that we are not legally required to keep. Apple App Store subscriptions continue until you cancel them with Apple.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Optional HiAir Premium is sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android): monthly (com.hiair.premium.monthly / hiair_premium_monthly) and yearly (com.hiair.premium.yearly / hiair_premium_yearly). Title, length, and price are shown on the paywall before purchase. Payment is charged to your store account. The subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in the store subscription settings. Restore purchases is available in the app.

5. Permitted use

Do not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attack the service.

6. Medical disclaimer

HiAir provides general wellness information only. For medical concerns or emergencies, contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

7. Privacy

Use of HiAir is subject to the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

Service content, software, and branding remain property of HiAir and licensors, except content you provide.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for policy or security reasons. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties, including accuracy of environmental data.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
